From pregnancy to that first step, this parenting resource and product-rich event is loaded with useful information and ideas for expecting couples and families with newborns.

CampFest

Whatever your child's age or interest, a well-chosen summer program can help them reap great fun, good friends, and some learning too.  Campfest gathers everything parents need to know to find a day camp or sleepover camp that is just right for your child.
Camps for Pre-schoolers (ages 3-5), Day Camps (ages 5-12), Sleepaway Camps (ages 7 and up), Specialty Camps (ages 10 and up)

Family Vacations

Where to go, what to see and how to save on family vacations. Whether it's being a tourist in your own backyard or traveling to popular attractions further away, this theme area wil provide families with the information about kid-friendly things to see and do.

Sports & Fitness:

This interactive area will offer products and demos in a wide variety of sports for all level kids.  (Soccer, skiing, swimming, gymnastics, karate, dance, yoga, rock climbing, baseball, hoops~~ you name it!

Education & Youth Enrichment:

Showcased in this area are many of the educational opportunities available to Portland/SW Washington families.  From preschool options and private schools to educational alternatives and after school programs.  (Art, theater, music, foreign language, modeling, special needs and more).

Health & Safety:

Oregon Safe Kids Coalition: Local experts in helmet, car seat, crib, fire safety and poisoning
prevention will provide hands-on activities for parents and kids of all
ages. Multnomah County Sheriff River Patrol will be on hand featuring AquaSmart and Bobby the Boat. Free KidCare Child ID Kits given out each day by North Star Resource Group and Multnomah & Clackamas County Sheriff.  Come early-- free to all Kids!

Food & Family:

Cooking with kids, meal planning for busy families, eating organic, lunchbox 101, etiquette and best restaurants for families (healthy food, great fun, family-friendly conveniences).

Kids Instyle:

Shop the latest fashion, accessories, toys, gifts and home decorating ideas for kids.

Family Marketplace:

Shop everything on sale in this special Saturday Market filled with arts & crafts, gifts and home-made goodies.

Special Needs

Learning to cope and to successfully address the needs of children diagnosed with medical, developmental, emotional, physical, neurological, behavioral and/or other related conditions requires that families become prepared and equipped with information about programs, services, expert opinions, products and other important resources that will assist them in caring for a child with special needs. This special theme area will feature the various resources available in the Northwest.
